Predictive Maintenance for a roof top boiler
An aging and unconnected water boiler system required some form of monitoring to inform the building management team about faults. The team designed a smart edge device using COTS parts to provide real-time pressure measurements to a cloud-based microservice. Now, the operator gets SMS notification when boiler pressure is out of range.

The connected monitoring system consists a compute platform with wireless connectivity, pressure sensor and a Cloud microservice to receive and analyze data
Edge Hardware Assembly
The system from November 30 9:02am until March 1 4:01pm. During that time it collected 23328 pressure readings and alerted high/low reading 43 times.
